Incredibly good food for a more than fair price! By far best value for money, super nice atmosphere and really delicious food! Can highly recommend this place!
Food was fantastic, really tasty and perfect sized portions. Staff were friendly and the covid measures the best I have seen, with hand sanitizer on each table, all servers using visors and tables either separated by a screen or socially distanced. I would definitely go back again.
Unfortunately, I found the food in Olives and Meze disappointing. The menu sounds delicious and in line food from the region/Mediterranean food, I expected it to be bursting with flavour. I ordered 4 vegetarian meze dishes and my friend ordered an 'authenticly cooked' lamb shish with bulgar wheat and salad. Each dish lacked flavour. We asked for chili sauce which came homemade and looked delicious but this didn't add much. It felt like more than just a lack of seasoning and more a lack of depth. The food was quite expensive too (nearly 50 quid for those dishes, two non-alcoholoc drinks and a bottle of water) and this made it even more disappointing. Turkish/Greek Mediterranean should be inexpensive, plentiful, filling and full of flavour (in my experience). The service was great but I felt they were trying too hard to be high-end and this didn't work.
Great food and great portions. Had a lovely bite to eat with my girlfriend. She had falafel and I had some lamb kofta. Great food and a great price. Definitely a place to go to.
