Olinda, Brazil

Nice historical center well worth a visit, museums and historical buildings daytime as well as cozy restaurants, coffee shops and bars efter dark. Olinda is a colonial town on Brazil’s northeast coast, near the city of Recife. Founded in 1535 by the Portuguese, it’s built on steep hillsides and distinguished by its 18th-century architecture, baroque churches, convents, monasteries and brightly painted houses. Originally a center for the sugarcane industry, it’s now known as an artists’ colony, with many galleries, workshops and museums.

Very nice place to visit close to Recife. Better to spend a day there then in Recife. You can really feel the colonialism in the air because of the several building in this style. A lots of color everywhere. Fantastic place.
Great old city to walk! Food is delicious
Beautiful place. Be careful with local guides. First, ask for the exact price before the tour.
A very nice place with many small and good Restaurants. The prospect is fantastic.
This place is wonderful. A lot of foods and store. A place for tourist and everybody. Came to visit a heaven in earth.
It’s a great place for a walk, explore a bit of Brazilian history, shopping and eating.
Very beautiful city and tell the history of Brazil, but very poorly maintained. Our politicians need to take care of the infrastructure of our tourist spots urgently
