This proved to be a fast place to get dessert and breakfast for the next morning. I had trouble deciding among the offerings and asked for a recommendation. The server pointed me toward the Copenhagen mess, a limited special item. As I had Eton mess in my dessert wish list, this sounded great to try. This was truly something worthy of Bake Off: a biscuit topped with cream and fresh fruit, with crunchy meringue on top. Exquisite. My husband selected a slice of chocolate cake. Traditional but oh so good. For breakfast, we grabbed a chocolate croissant and cinnamon roll. While neither was fresh, both were delicious.

Very nice bright place, with a good selection of pastries and breads and lots of tables to sit down for a cup of coffee, away from busy Piccadilly Circus.

The best rye bread of my life, and now I have a new favourite Cookie! You get the “top quality” feeling as soon as you step in the shop, they have a variety of delicacies to try before buy... I tried the Chia seeds rye bread and oh boy... it’s the best rye bread I had in the UK! It’s probably the best in my life! It’s very soft (unlike the ones that we can buy in supermarkets) and it’s so tasty! Then, my friend introduced me to my new diet breaker: rye chocolate cookie! It combines the nutty notes of rye with the richness of chocolate. The texture is difficult to explain, the creamy chocolate becomes one with the soft rye, on which the crunchy sprinkled nuts lie. It’s a perfect combination of very different ingredients. Love love love! Both purchases were brought for a picnic, as you can tell from the photos:)

Tanner was lovely. Bright efficient service. The other server who couldn’t bother to request from to another team member 2 waters, she might be in further just a little bit more proactive and remember customer service doesn’t mean you have to work hard especially in requesting 2 tap waters Tanner service made it a 5 stars though as stated the other server wearing glasses lost one of her stars! Shame... the leister square branch is also very nice too. PS - why is only the disable toilet open? 1 of a disable person was to enter they would have to wait and two your toilets aren’t being cleaned in the time I was there .. so isn’t this an area that could potentially be a hub for corona spreading ?

Great helpful staff and good price. From the outside you might think this is a typically overpriced central London tea and pastry place, but you would be wrong. A tea and hor chocolate with a bag of chocolate brownie cost about 10 - co sider over the road at the pizza express a single dessert is nearly 8 quid, puts into perspective how reasonable this is given the location. If you are in the area and you want a tea and something sweet go in and try it, can guarantee its cheaper and just as hood as most other places save for specialty shops in the area.
