My experience today in your Oldham branch was the worst of any store I have had to visit during the covid outbreak, instead of keeping click and collect on a separate till which surely makes sence at this time.I had to stand in line with the social shoppers! The start of the line had no floor markers so most people were just standing together mingling and chatting also the start of the line was open to the rest of the store so everyone in the shop was just walking past but squeezed into a tight area much less than 2 meters wide probably nearer to 1. If I hadn't been there to collect outfits for my mums funeral who has just died from covid 19 then I would have walked out.Instead I had to do your job for you and tell people to keep a safe social distance but within the ridiculous boundaries of your store layout this was impossible for people at the start of the line. Who ever manages this store should be ashamed of themselves. I complained to the lady on the door on the way out but she was no use just said you are trying this new layout today but admitted it wasn'tworking !.Unfortunately for some people your trial may take too long while you are showing a complete disregard to public safety.
Well stocked but customer service isn't great. Huge queues and customers can't see which cashiers are free and the staff aren't proactive in calling for the next customer. Staff didn't appear to be getting any direction and all looked inexperienced. Signage behind the counters are missing letters which makes the store look rundown. Edit: moved from 3 stars to 1 as I have been again since and the customer service and experience was awful. No fitting rooms open and at the same time you couldn't return any sales items that didn't fit for cash, only store credit. Truly awful place.
