Booked a Luton with taillift a week before a house move. An hour before collection they call me to say this is not available. And had the audacity to suggest it's somehow my fault because I chose pay on collection and didn't pay up front. They had sent a email confirmation with nothing to suggest the booking was not secured. They had even rung me the day after the web booking to confirm the booking and check some details - all the guy really seemed to be interested in was how many miles I was going to do.

Very easy to book online, reasonable rates, paid extra to bring the excess down from a 1,000 to 250 which is the lowest amount. The Van was nearly brand new, very clean. Staff excellent explained all that we needed to know prior to leaving their office. Van was checked over carefully before we left and any marks noted. Really pleased with the rental process. 10/10 to County on good customer service. Will defiantly use again.

Booked a car for Christmas through their website. After taking your payment it comes up with a list of items you need to provide; passport, driving license and national insurance number are fair enough; a payslip is rather intrusive but a utility bill that has been posted to your house is ancient. Who gets those anymore? No word on if they would accept a fax of my fileofax. Still I get those things together and then a couple of hours before I go to collect they call up to say they haven't got any cars! Turns out their website is not linked to stock levels at all so they are making booking that they know they cannot keep. In fact their website is still taking booking for that period now. I am left with all of my Christmas plans in ruins. They did refund my money promptly though. Hence the second star.
I rented a vehicle with this company around 4 weeks ago for a family trip away.... Just a quick review to mention the amazing service we revived from start to finish.... The man who arranged the hire named Andrew was extremely thorough and ensured our vehicle was ready and waiting also fully explaining everything required about the vehicle.... Upon return when collecting my old vehicle the battery had gone flat and Andrew and his colleague Steve jump started my vehicle without any hesertations to get me on my way.... The car was great as was the service would definitely use again and recommend!!!! Thankyou
