Very friendly welcome on a hot day after we’d done 85 miles. Hot Beef and onion was lovely

Lovely little pub, with very good home cooked traditional food, and well kept beer. Knowledgable, friendly, staff always smiling and happy to help. We booked a table of 14 here, and we were all sat together in the back room, with table service. They did their absolute best for us, and personally couldn't fault it. 1 of our group did get a cooler meal, but they sorted asap. Understand that this is a small pub with limited room. But the quality makes up for that with extra.
