We had the Victorian Tea, was very nice, sandwiches were fresh, scones were warm and sponge cake delicious. Service was excellent. Our 2 dogs were welcomed too

Lovely afternoon tea. The scones were warm and delicious with some Earl Grey tea. Also had the Brie and grape sandwiches which were delicious. All served promptly and very safe Covid measures in place. Visit the lovely fairy garden out the back too.

Called in for afternoon tea and quite disappointed. Staff were nice and friendly. Looks like I was visiting my Nan’s house. Scones were a little dry and they came with a very small amount of cream and jam. I like to have a generous amount of cream and jam and didn’t feel like asking for more. Tried the cream tea at the Isle of Wight Pearl which was much better and a great view.

It’s very prettily decorated and worth going in just for that. But when we specifically asked to sit in the pink room, they took us to the blue room citing lack of space due to covid - but the people just behind us got seated in the pink room immediately after (?!). It may have been different servers but still I thought that’s not consistent and made us feel quite unwelcome. The food was average - scones were warm but small compared to the other tea shops we’ve been to. We had apple crumble too which wasn’t anything special so wouldn’t order it again. Probably would only go there for ambience.
