Churchyards have rules in place to prevent memorials inappropriate to the setting being placed. Excellent idea. I would suggest a note to the general public though, since the area is generally used as a dog toilet by Brockhall/Old Langho residents, and as a rest or picnic area by Ramblers - be respectful of the environment and of those visiting relations in the churchyard. It shouldn't need to be said but I feel it must.

Lovely little church in the middle of nowhere. Shame I couldn’t get inside to have a look around. 13/05/18 Visited today when the church was open. Very atmospheric, lovely place.
Worth a visit. Kept open and very historic.
