It's an interesting spot and there are good views across the surrounding area. It's a shortish 30 minute (with kids) walk around the top. Our kids enjoyed picking blackberries. They've got some iron age sheep grazing in some areas so dogs will need to be on leashes for parts. It's worth a look.

Beautiful, historical place to visit. The views are spectacular and it's a great place to spend a couple of hours or go walking.
Large raised open space with good views of Oswestry & surrounding countryside and good information boards which are well worth reading. A few parking spaces at entrance & plenty of parking at Gatacre playing fields nearby.
It's great to see something that's still standing from almost 3000 years ago - there aren't any constructions left per se, however the sheer mount construction is impressive. It is also a great place to come for a walk (especially if you live in the area) as it's got fabulous flora (last time we went there in April, there was a plethora of purple flowers and bright yellow shrubs (shrubbery!)). You can also see for miles and miles around you once you're at the very top.
Just a fabulous walk with great views surrounding the area. Dog loves it up there!
