Lovely little pick up of Fish & chips with Mushy peas & curry sauce. Taken all the way to Hyde from Oldham. Since being blown away by Mother Hubbards in Blackpool, glad we have one local enough to order food.

Always go here for fish and chips, which are the by far the best for miles and well worth driving over from Shaw. Tonight while waiting in the drive thru our car decided to play up and break down, the staff came out to push it safely to their car park and we were invited inside to wait for the RAC, as our car wasn't safe to wait in it and it was freezing, which took over an hour. The manager came over just before we were about to leave and asked if we would like him to replace our order as it might be cold by the time we got home. I nearly fell of my seat and agreed. He smiled and gave us the newly fried order and handed us our original order too, stating that we might as well see if we could use it at home. Got home and enjoyed the hot, freshly prepared food. Unfortunately, we were too full to bother with the older order, but our cats had a very tasty supper, so nothing went to waste. Thanks to the manager for being so generous and helpful, it was a really nice end to a stressful situation.
last night was our first time in this fine restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We had great time with the good service, with the first-rate cooking and booze and with the honest charge. We will no doubt go back there in a short time.
Fish size was really generous on the standard piece. Very skillfully cooked - moist on the inside. Good portion of standard chips too. Reasonably courteous staff. The downside was the time it took via the drive through. Third in the queue when joining. I really don't like sitting with no information for over 20 minutes. They didn't apologise for the time taken so guess they didn't think anything was untoward. This part of the operation needs attention as many reviews before mine have mentioned it too.
Foods Excellent and we enjoyed but drive through very slow service.
