Great service, in a delightful village pub, overlooking the green from one of two beer gardens, serving excellent beers, everyone was delighted with their food especially my pie which was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed this even on a slightly grey day, photos were taken early in the morning whilst I was walking the dog, we're all looking forward to going back!

Nice to see this pub back in business again. We went there (3 of us) for lunch. The menu was varied and we enjoyed the well cooked food. I enjoy trying local beers and they had some from Andwells, a local brewery. Well done to the staff at the Old House!
I was extremely impressed with all the effort made to keep things safe for eating out during the pandemic. The service was excellent and food was well presented with good sized portions and tasty options. Bathroom cleanliness exceptional.
Excellent food and very friendly service. Will definitely be going back. A great selection of local gins and local brewed beers. Without doubt I would recommend plus it is supporting local businesses.
Fantastic place that we lucked out and found on our way back to London. Went post-COVID, staff was very friendly and food was great. We also witnessed how much effort was put into cleaning the tables, chairs and walls around each table.
