This place is a gem! Staff are friendly and helpful, service is good. Downstairs (pub) has a nice warm atmosphere, upstairs (restaurant) has great decor and art! Wide selection of drinks, including some quality ales. The food... is amazing. I had a surf and turf as a chef special and it was honestly one of the most enjoyable meals of my life. My friends highly rated their food too. And the price, whilst not being cheap, was indicative of the quality of the food and drink. Handles social distancing well too, as an additional point. Overall, would recommend this place to anyone.

Fabulous. We were there as s small group of three friends for the Sunday dinner. Myself and my wife had the roast beef, our friend had the vegan nut roast, all were absolutely delicious. The service from the staff was quick and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this establishment if you were looking for a plesent, and just as important a safe place to relax with family, on your own or a small group of friends.
I’m sat here now, and although I’m 2 beers in and a bit of a light weight, I highly recommend this place. The manager was lovely, professional, courteous, and a nice level of humour. The waitress who served us, although blatantly insulted by my friend, took it incredibly well, smiled and found a place in her heart to forgive him. To put it simply, a good pub needs good food, good beer and good service. This has all 3 in abundance. Keep it up!
First class service and friendly staff. We were sat outside but the waitress got us inside because it looked like it was going to rain. Excellent food.. would visit again if I was in the area.
Went on spec for brunch. Service really good. Covid compliant. Young girl couldn't be more helpful. Food arrived quickly, hot and tasty. Very reasonably priced. Good value.
