Well looked after airfield with great facilities with flying school and cafe. A great place for just a day out to watch or to take a trial flight. Highly recommeded.

Landed there for a quick cup of tea during some training. Jimmy’s was closed because of Covid, but they had gone to the trouble of making a self service cafe which was excellent. Thanks for making such an effort. OB is so atmospheric with so much history and the guys running it do it with such enthusiasm you can’t help but love it. It’s the epitome of everything flying is about. If you’re a pilot, this has to be on your to do list. Looking forward to many more happy landings there.
