I use Eversfield to have food delivered to my mother as I work overseas. Thankful to know she now have high quality fresh foods delivered during this challenging time. Have just placed my 3rd order. Great website which made it easy to order. I like that everything is organic and the packaging was incredible. They use wool and ice packs to insulate. Just wish I knew what to do with the wool packs because they’re not recyclable where I am and I live in a temporary flat. Would love suggestions on what to do with them including sending them back. I hate to waste wool. The food is hit or miss. I was extremely disappointed with the cherry tomatoes. Three were smooshed and what wasn’t smooshed didn’t taste very good. Wouldn’t recommend the tomatoes. The salad mix comes in a sealed bag from Italy as if it’s been washed but hasn’t unfortunately. When I attempted to wash the leaves, they looked horrible as if they were wilted and not edible. I didn’t have that same experience with the spinach though. Would prefer they not put their upc label over the packaging where the writing is and wash and dry the leaves if they’re going to be packaged. The lemons and oranges were okay. Good size . Lemons tasted better than the oranges. Both excellent for juicing. The kiwis were good which isn’t easy this time of year. The chicken liver was tender and easy to cook. Haven’t tried the chicken legs yet but they look large and meaty. The fresh juice is okay. I actually made my own using the fruit I bought from them which was better but of course it’s always better fresh. I like that they sell a variety of items from all over. Delivery went well except for the tomatoes.
Top quality meat! We ordered initially when we were struggling to get decent meat in the supermarket due to COVID, but I was really impressed by the quality and we're now expecting our second delivery. Made burgers with the beef mince and they were juicy and delicious. Delivery super quick too now that people have mostly stopped panic ordering
100% organic. For me, a carnivore for metabolic health during my battle against a brain tumour. This is fantastic! Broadens my possibilities for eating the best quality meats sourced from Devon!
I placed an order for bread and preserves weeks ago. I waited earnestly this morning for my parcel only to learn that due to poor labelling my goodies have been destroyed. Very upset.
