Great seafood place on the canal. Fresh local products and friendly service
Lovely little Restaurant with an incredible selection of fish. The kind staff knew all about every dish and they gifted us a schnapps after the meal. They spoke English and didn't mind our broken French. The only reason I have given them 4 and not 5 stars, is that they only had fish on the menu. My partner doesn't love fish, and would have liked another choice, but settled on salmon which wound up being delicious. I do understand it is a fish restaurant. We just didn't know how exclusive it was beforehand. Please try this place; Sète is better with it.
Relaxing Sunday lunch. We have spent 2 and a half hours here enjoying fantastic food and drink. Zoe is so lovely and was great at recommending food. Chill out at this friendly place on a Sunday afternoon
Great place to try local seafood specialties. Recommend brasucade (mussels) and rouille de seiche (squid with tomato sauce and rice)
Worst meal we had in Sete. If you go there then stick to the fresh fish which is okay. Shellfish is overcooked and tired. Mussels were rubbery and seemingly cooked in dishwater. Prawns dubious. Even the bread was burned. There are wonderful restaurants in Sete, but this is not one of them.
Very delightful dish ! Specially fish
Superb seafood. Oh Gobie came highly recommended as a top spot for sea food and we weren't disappointed. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, she took the time to go through the menu of the day and explain what was on offer. We were also recommended one of the tastiest wines we'd ever had. There were plenty of options, so we started with some more familiar pickings langoustine, sea snails, oysters and roast mackerel. For mains, we had a colossal fillet of tuna, and I had some more huge langoustine (they ran out of my first choice, mussels. To be fair, it was late into the lunch time service and they were clearly a popular choice). Everything was so yummy and pretty well cooked. Sitting on the canal side added to the ambiance of our experience. It was nice to be seated under a canopy out of the direct heat of the midday sun, we ate and drank leisurely and had a wonderful time. I Deffinatly recommend this spot.
