Staff is courteous. I'm like a fish out of water in a court setting, but the clerks have made life a little easier just by having patience alone. Kudos

Once the guard wouldn't let me in because I was wearing a foreign service uniform. I wasn't trying to make a political statement, I just wanted to pay a traffic ticket. So I had to go out, practically strip down to the bare decent amount of clothes without the uniform on, and walk back in to pay.

Making victims of every party involved, when I thought the legal system was supposed to be fair and just.

Had a memorable experience filing for divorce. Aside from getting her to sign the papers in a timely manner, it all got filed and signed by the judge in the time frame that was given. Heaven forbid another divorce is in my future, but if so, I would definitely choose this district court for all my divorce related needs. 5 stars.

The staff are very helpful and the Judge is pretty cool.

Every time we have gone to the courthouse the clerks have been INCREDIBLE! They have helped us every step of the way as we learn the system of evicting a tenant. Thank you for your expertise and patience! We appreciate you!!!!

I've had the worst experience attempting to file a divorce. There are no kids or property involved & both parties are in agreement, so it should be simple, right? After filing the initial divorce papers, I filed a motion to have my fees waived due to low income. After bringing in form after form, the deadline was coming up & my ex was having difficulties getting me the last notarized signature (he lives out of state) so I decided to figure out how to just pay it. When I went to the courthouse after the 90 days after filing, I was told that my divorce case was DROPPED due to lack of payment, as if they couldn't see that I had been filing to have my fees waived! I had just been in the courthouse less than a week before it was dropped & no one ever informed me that my case would be dropped. Not a letter, nothing. Now I am in the process of filing a motion to set aside the dismissal & even that's been a headache. Just about every time I've been in the courthouse I am told that I've filed everything that I need, only to find out that is not true. I can't even tell you how many forms I've filed! Everything about this process has been so difficult, especially when I'm not even in trouble with the law. Filing a divorce is a mentally hard thing to do already & dealing with the court has made it 10 times worse. And I won't even go into what it's like finding information on the website!

I agree with previous reviewer this is a horrible phone system I really needed to speak with a live person I tried all the options in hopes that if I got a live person they would be able to transfer me to the correct place after a half of repeated calls I gave up. I left a message and did get a return call from a great clerk Patty who was very helpful. So I must say that the only difficult part is the automated system. I really struggle with automated systems I never seem to fit into any of the options. I live 30 miles away and I am grateful I will not have to drive there and look up what I need my self using their computer system Coris.
