I will be thinking about this meal for a while! I was so pleased that this restaurant lived up to the expectations from the wonderful reviews I read. The restaurant is simple and cosy, letting all the food do the talking! Friendly and attentive staff and honestly just fresh, delicious food. My favourite meal from my trip to Paris.

From US , very much appreciated the small shop feel and we loved the chef/owner/waiter lady. Such a smile and wonderfully helpful since we did not speak French. They didn’t have what we wanted but we stayed here and enjoyed the place. Food was good. Coming from the US, the kids saw how food is prepared simply in a manner that is not the mass production approach. Kids not used to the slower pace and this is great for them to see .. AND loved their sign ! we had a lovely family conversation and left her with a pen since she ran out of working pens from Albuquerque New Mexico !

My fiancé and I had our last dinner of our week long trip here on Saturday and it was one of the best meals we had in all of Paris. We tried going earlier in the week but couldn’t get it due to the size and popularity, so we went early (around 6:30 PM) on Saturday and got right in. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They walked us through everything on the specials board, answered all of our questions, and offered suggestions. We started with the meat and cheese board along with the bruschetta to start - both were excellent. For main courses, we each ordered a special that were creative and delicious. Potions were generous and we left no room for dessert unfortunately. Our waiter, Elliot, was great and was consistently checking on us. We ended up talking with him for quite a while over the course of our meal and were made to feel very comfortable. Chances are we wouldn’t have found this place if we weren’t staying right around the corner, but part of the allure of this restaurant is that you have to know where it is to find it. I would absolutely recommend stopping in here for dinner if you are in the neighborhood.

One of the best oenosteria ever tried out of italy. Only fresh products displayed in huge frigo and cooked simply but perfectly. White Truffle season gets all the attention there where you can buy it on weight to put in your plate. Wine list is a bit expensive but the ones tried were good though.

This place was bomb! I've been striking out here in Paris with my food choices, so I decided to try and find some.good Italian. I have never had \Northern Italian\ but I lived the dishes. My wife and I shared the Borchetta, Arugula, Mozzarella ball, and spinach ravioli with some glasses of the house Merlot. Everything was so good that we had to try the tiramisu with some espresso! The food was great and the service was very friendly. I would highly recommend this place!

Simply amazing! The first 5 stars I’ve given since being in Paris for about a week now. The food was amazing!! The price was by far the best value among all the restos we've eaten at. The wine....oh the wine, c'est bon!! Above all however, the service and friendliness of the staff there make you feel like what a trip to Paris would be without the snooty/rude attitude you might encounter at other French restaurants. We absolutely love Oenosteria and can’t recommend it enough. Yes, it is an Italian restaurant in Paris but you would be at a loss to pass up the chance to try this hidden gem (feel like a local). I almost feel like I don’t want to post this review to keep it off the mainstream radar but no, most good things are made better by sharing. Do yourself a favor and check it out!! The location, the food, the price, and especially the amazing people who work there have made it our must go to restaurant in Paris. *There are more pics but we were all so excyted none of the pictures came out well...guess its another reason to go back haha

This was the best meal of my trip to Paris. Elliot was lovely and explained how the products all arrive on a truck from Tuscany -that’s why the food tastes like Italy! The menu is small and changes. The olive oil was incredible. Get the artichoke hearts-you’ve never seen them this beautiful.
