Lovely demonstration of ancient time! Houses are around the area are very nice too
Interesting to see the home where Andersen spent his childhood. We obviously get to see a doctored version, but it’s pretty cool nevertheless. It was pretty crowded when we visited so we could not really spend much time inside the house. Allow about 15-30 mins for a visit.
It's always special to visit a birth home of a person who meant something to the world. As a fan of Andersen's fairytales I had to visit this house. It's small, but lovely. Note: tickets can need to be purchased at the museum, a few blocks further down the road. The amount seems expensive, but it's valid for more museums! There's probably a queue. Due to Corona there's a limited amount of people allowed inside at the same times.
It's a time's journey around the life of one of the most important storytellers of the world.
The museum consists of 5 different museums located across Odense. They are all different and are showing the life of the famous H.C. Andersen. They give you a wrist band at the receptions that you can show entering the next museum. There is no time limit and you can also start from any museum you want!
Nice for walking midnight.
Fantastic place with a lot of beautiful and fairy townhouses.
