Food is good and cheap, staff seemed to be friendly. There is place inside, which is nice, and some tables outside, in front of the restaurant on the street. They serve typical food from the region, both meat and fish. When we went some of the dishes weren't available. Be aware of the fact that they will bring you some appetizers, bread and water which are not for free (they cost a total of about 6). This is not bad per se, but you don't have much of a choice (I'm sure you can refuse them though). They are good in any case, even if not abundant as they are in other similar restaurant of the city.

Don't order the bread pap unless you want a bowl of slime with seafood. The other food was okay. The fish looks fresh and is grilled on open fire. There are many good looking deserts to choose from. We ate the fig tart which was very good
The main dishes were mostly of good quality and the staff friendly. However, what absolutely disqualified the restaurant was that they charged us almost 10 euro for the slightly stale bread, olives etc. which they put on our table without asking first. This is bad practice and illegal in Portugal. On top of that, the cappuccino we got was made from some powder and really watery.
We ordered Legume soup and salad. The food was average. A bit pricy. The staffs were very nice though.
Superb! Best local sweet potatoes, fresh octopus from the coast and tuna steak ever!

Restaurante simpático com uma mini-explanada. Boa relação preço qualidade. Pratos adaptados da cozinha tradicional alentejana. Serviço um pouco lento devido a inexperiência do empregado mas desculpável em tempo de férias. O polvo com esmagada de batata doce estava divinal. Os carapaus alimados tradicionais do Algarve também.
A éviter absolument. Après avoir manger dans ce resto,la nuit j'ai été malade. Ils feraient mieux de se remettre en question. Le repas et les aliments juste dégueulasse et je pèse mes mots.
