Ockham

There are 2 car parks for Ockham Forest linked by a footpath through the forest. The bigger car park (nearer to the A3) has a cafe and toilets. The children particularly loved the Christmas tree (a living pine about 10 mins walk from the car park) and the decorations that has been left on it. On the day we visited it was very busy and it took quite a while to find a space. If you are planning a visit I would recommend going earlier.

This was my first visit to Ockham Common and was not disappointed. Some lovely walks and a great place to practice some woodland photography. Absolutely beautiful, just a shame that visitors here treat it like a rubbish tip....so much litter. Take your rubbish home, what's the big deal.
A great parking area to stop off the M25 for a walk through the forests. There is enough space to park and the paths are marked really well for an enjoyable walk, hike or bike ride.
Very handy place to stop or meet people just off M25/A3 junction. Free car park and pleasant place to have a walk. First car park on left was quite busy, one a little further on was quieter. Says there's a cafe so guess there are loos too.
Beautiful place for family walks
