Very decent fish and chips. Slightly more expensive than others nearby, however the fish seems bigger too, and with a nice crispy batter. All in all a good experience. The oddity is watching the staff measure the chip portion size in a tub, would have thought that would come quite natural, but I guess they get consistency. Would definitely recommend!

Friendly staff, but more importantly the fish are freshly cooked to order, not sitting in the tray for hours open end.

Excellent quality true English Fish and Chips. Family deals offer very good value, and the butties offer an affordable but filling snack. Everything is fresh and cooked in the traditional Yorkshire dripping. If I was showing someone from another country a good example of traditional English fish and chips then it would be this place. Has good sensible opening times as well, which often is a problem with English chippies that seem to run to a 1940s schedule.
