A brilliant place for meetings and locate your company. Very impressive and cost effective solution.
We have used Ocean Village Innovation Centre as a base for our company for 4 years. The staff have always been brilliant and are a true credit to their company. Due to our company growing we have moved a couple of times into larger offices throughout the building and everybody here has gone above and beyond to make sure the transition was as smooth as possible. We have also used to conference facilities downstairs which are well equipped and perfect for an event.
Could not for the life of me find a bike rack!! Seriously come on guys, how about promoting sustainable travel and health by making it easy for people to cycle?! Also could not see the company I was visiting on the board, took ages to get hold of a receptionist and no water in the waiting room. I'm still not sure if I'm in the right place, appointment due any minute so I'll find out I guess. EDIT: Was accosted after my meeting by building management who had seen my review and were literally waiting outside the door of the interview room for me because they weren't happy with it. Quite apart from my not really having time to deal with them as I had to get back to the office, I also found it highly inappropriate that they made use of my details on signing in for anything other than safety purposes (pretty sure there's a complaint there under GDPR if I could be bothered to make it); and I found it intimidating and distressing that they saw fit to lurk outside the door waiting for my appointment to finish so that they could ask me to change the review (yes, two of them)... What is wrong with responding to an online comment with an online reply I do not know. Anyway turns out there are bike racks... Completely hidden from the road behind a private car park, with no obvious signage. My one star rating remains due to the thoroughly unpleasant attitude of the building managers instead. I will not be returning.
I have had an office with OVIC for 2 years now, The staff have been extremely helpful, have really gone above and beyond to help myself and my business in its growth offering many services including business advice.
