Acura of Ocean, and my salesman, Jay were astounding. Jay is courteous, patient and kind. I was very particular about which vehicle I wanted and he showed me options and allowed me the space and time to weight through them. Once I choose a vehicle, Justin, in finance, was equally accommodating. He explained things so I would understand, he stayed in constant communication and followed up. I had a great experience with this dealership.

The salesman who helped me, Sal, was wonderful. Very honest and helpful. If it was for him and the finance guy, I would recommend Acura of Ocean 100%. However, my husband was interested in trading his 2016 Bentley Flying spur for the new NSX. He asked to see the car and he was told nobody could get closer to the car. So rude!! He felt offended and almost made me leave the MDX I was buying. I guess he will stay with Bentley, where he is treated like a king, besides, the car has much much more quality and value. Not only did they take twice the amount of time they initially projected to perform the work I came in for, they also proceeded to give me an 11,000 estimate for "necessary" repairs. Little do they know, much of the work they marked as "Failed" has been performed within the last 5,000 miles. See attached screenshot of estimate. Let's go line by line. 1. Replace oil pump, cost 1650 (this was done along with timing belt and water pump just 4,000 miles prior to this visit. 2. Transmission mount, cost 380 (this may be legitimate as it hasn't been replaced in our records.) 3. Alignment, cost 110 (done within past month) 4 & 5. Left and Right outer tie rods, cost 682 (this was done 5k miles ago) 6 & 7. Front and rear pads and rotors, cost 1220 (brakes are all less that 5k miles old and have PLENTY of life left) 8. Cabin filter, cost 84 (less than 4k miles old) 9 &10. Front upper and lower ball joints both sides, cost 2195 (all 4 we're replaced less than 5k miles ago) 11. Both front struts, cost 1325 (this may be legitimate as we have no record of replacement) 12. Spark plugs, cost 320 (all 6 were replaced less than 2k miles ago along with all 6 ignition coils) 13. Timing belt package cost 1050 (not only is the timing belt only 4k miles old, but they are totally double dipping on the oil pump labor which is very dishonest even if the tbelt needed to be done) 14. PCV valve, cost 93 (this is a legitimate recommendation) 15. Rear calipers, cost 660 (these were replaced less than 5k miles ago) Let's do the math now. Estimate total pre tax is 10,678.80 no more than 1800 of which is even potentially legitimate. That means I was quoted OVER 9,000 in verified ILLEGITIMATE repairs! I have receipts showing the work was done very recently. Needless to say, if Google gave an option for ZERO stars, that's what this facility would've received for my experience today.

Everyone at Acura is a pleasure to talk to, abs have a customer relationship with. From the person that greets you when you pull in, to the service person that explains everything to you. The waiting area and complementary items to drink or snack on to the final step of paying your bill, everyone is very nice! It was a pleasure.

Getting my car serviced here is a pleasant experience. Well-kept, clean, comfortable waiting area. The staff is polite, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. They were honest about what service my car needed and why, versus what could be deferred to a later time. Coming from a non-car expert, I appreciate that sort of honesty. Also, they found me a coupon for my getting my tires replaced, which is also greatly appreciated!
