Love this place. Grew up around here. A really nice place and the landlady June is so lovely. You won't be disappointed. Great food. I can definitely recommend. A pub I recommend.

Good menu & great service right on the beach. Excellent couple of pints of real ale too.
The service was excellent, the food was good, but the chips need to be a bit hotter next time. And also, seeing every staff member during service wearing face masks makes me and my friend feel safe and it shows a good example of how to protect themselves and their customers from Covid-19. Very well done guys :)
Lovely place an atmosphere, loved everyting about it, but wasn't too impressed with the food. Yes we didn't order the signature stuff, I got a ploughman's, which was alright. Would have enjoyed my cheddar more mature, it as almost like Tesco cheese really, also would have made a huge difference if the bread was warm. Other than that lovely staff too I would go back, but order maybe the fish and chips which seemed more famous.
Superb place for good company, friendly staff and food that is simply fabulous. I had the pan fried Sea Bass and it was delicate, fresh and beautifully presented. Hubster had smoked haddock which was similarly delicious and looked amazing. Do yourself and your family a favour and pop in.
