Great stop off after visiting castle or if you're walking around the backside of the island. Only open on Fri Sat Sun so beware, had a small selection of sandwiches / cakes and hot cold drinks, I believe you can email and place an order the previous day. Cafe also has a toilet which is more normal than the compost toilet you will find near the castle. I'd you are going to walk around the farside of island the path starts to the right of the house but please note the path does deterioate around the far side and you will be walking up a river at one part and on grass fields for about 3 miles before you come to a hard surface again.

Ele Palazzolo

This place is ok although very limited spaces and if you are not getting right on time the food is also limited. It is picturesque though. I think it's the only option in the island and will be good if it was better prepared for the tourism. The waiters looked also a bit stressed by the amount of people ordering. Needs improvement but lots of potential.

I had the most amazing chocolate fudge brownie and veggie Scottish stew here after our walk to the castle. Martin was so friendly and funny. I highly recommend stopping at this place to eat and enjoy the beautiful view and energy. I hope to be wokring there next summer!

Really friendly, helpful owner. Very good Covid practices, felt safe. Soup was amazing, great coffee and cakes. A really good little stop on a walk around the island.

An amazing place. All homemade meals. Really tasty. Staff is very friendly and it is the perfect stop during your walk around Kerrera. Indoor seating available too.
