I used Oakwood solicitors to purchase a property after using them for other services previously having no issues. On this occasion it was completely the opposite to what I have experienced previously, Communication was non-existent, constantly chasing for updates, never returned calls. On the day of completion they never called me to advise the purchase was completed, still awaiting that phone call now three weeks on. I logged a complaint with the business about communication and this even included a delayed response that I had to chase a response. The response was an apology however refused to refund me my funds sometimes apologies don’t cut it. The company didn’t accept any responsibility for anything just apologised to brush me off. I would certainly not recommend and I would highly recommend you avoid this company when looking to purchase a property. It’s safe to say I won’t be using them for the sale of another property that I’m currently selling.
