Spoke to Glen the manager and ordered two sheds to my requirements. Delivered and erected on time. Quality sheds, would highly recommend!
The gentleman that we spoke to about a new fence was extremely knowledgeable and he gave us lots of advice and showed us different kinds of fence and posts and he also provided us with a couple of mobile numbers for two people who would build the fence if we needed this.
This review is not for the wooden buildings made at North Shields which are excellent. But it is for the bad situation I was to be faced with at their office when calling to make sure my expected delivery and installation was still going ahead and to confirm full payment would be made on that day. The manager (name withheld) made it quite clear that full payment (the remaining 50%) had to be made before delivery because \I could refuse to pay when it was delivered\ while waving a contract in front of me for effect. This was done in front of three other employees laughing while he said \the shed was going nowhere till it was paid in full\ with a grinn on his face , he was obviously enjoying the moment at my expense. Also no risk at all for Oakenclough with full payment being made before delivery! This extremely difficult and personally embarrassing situation was completely unnecessary and led to angry words on both sides! Never Again.
