The gingerbread houses are beautiful works of art. Every house has a name and theme, and hubby and I were here during illumination night, and the hoses had lanterns in every window and all along their porches. The entire neighborhood did. Three gingerbread houses are a network of streets that lead to a big open theatre with no was for the local bands to play. All of the streets have these brightly colored houses. This place is beautiful.
This was my favorite part of Martha's Vineyard! I confess, I didn't even know these were a part of the MV experience. I loved all the colors and personal details of each house. So magical and uplifting! Absolutely go see these!
My friend, daughter & I had a blast viewing the beautiful Gingerbread Houses. We took several pics, a few individually standing in front of our favorite color. I wanted a picture in front of every pink house I saw. Would love to revisit during illumination night. The Gingerbread Houses are a must see in Oak Bluffs.
Charming!! Get out and walk around downtown and make sure these little charmers are on your to do list!!

I love staying here because its a great family location and one of my favorite things to do on the island is waking around looking at all the different gingerbread houses.
The houses were beautiful, and all uniquely designed. One of the highlights of my visit/vacation here.
