Delicious, Delightful, Perfect. We have been twice and each time tried different items from the menu and both times the food took a very short time to come out of the kitchen. The first time we went, my partner had the roast beef Sunday lunch which is super tender and cuts like butter and I had the O.A.K burger which is everything a burger should be. It isn't greasy or gristly in the slightest and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and of great quality. To top it off the lady serving us who is also the co-owner of this wonderful establishment provides a very friendly, hassle free and personable service no matter how busy it is. The second time we went (less than a week later as we enjoyed our time here so much) I had the Goats Curd Gnocchi and my partner had the O.A.K burger. The Gnocchi was divine and one of the tastiest dishes I think I have ever eaten. I normally would not eat most of the vegetables in this dish but my plate was completely clean by the end of the meal, it was that delicious. We were then lucky enough to try the homemade ice cream. The chocolate ice cream is more like a rich chocolate mousse in flavour and the rose ice cream is heavenly with no hint of any synthetic flavourings. I would recommend this pub to anyone for any occasion! The atmosphere, service and food are simply fantastic!

We have just enjoyed a very filling and lovely Sunday lockdown takeaway. Well done to the team - a good selection offered and great service. Good value which really brightened the tedium of lockdown. We really hope that you you will be able to open for dining in December.Thank you.

Just had a delicious meal of venison & partridge. One of the best meals we've had for a while with attentive service.
Today we enjoyed Sunday lunch from the Oak- as we have an elderly mother they were only to happy to supply a take away Sunday dinner for us all. The meal was hot, tasty and well cooked, packed efficiently with both ordinary and vegetarian gravy to accompany our meals. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient in both taking our enquiries and order on the phone and serving us on collection. What a treat to have a tasty Sunday lunch without having to prepare it ourselves! We will definitely be back!
