Nice staff, good coffee and cake. I love the design of the building's exteriors and interiors. I would have chosen an appropriate background music for that, since the place deserves it. By the time we went there, a czech local radio was playing which was kinda ruining the atmosphere. Also the smell from the kitchen in the cafe was not pleasant. Overall experience was good but details matter, specially in such a beautiful place.

This hotel is directly in the Centre. Very nice location, the staff was very friendly, could also speak German and English. Everything was very clean and nice. The food was good and yummy. 1 less star because: we had the room which is reserved for somebody in a wheelchair and therefore it was a little too small. We had a nice balcony and the room was ok, but the bed and the room itself where a bit too small. Also: the room and the hotel where a little bit too dark for our liking. There could be more lights (e.g. Our bedroom just had those small nightstand lights.) Would still recommend this location again!
Really nice place, helpful personnel and good food. Veal cutlet was particularly good... :-) the whole place looks, that Náchod used to be a important trading town.
The food there was amazing. I had the pasta salad with pork tenderloin and my mother had the ceasar salad. They were both godly but I'd recommend the pasta salad over the ceasar one. If it wasn't on the other side of the Czech Republic I would be there all the time. 5/5
Worst hotel in the Czech Republic. The manager Iva Drašnarová is total incapable of working in hospitality. There is a wonderful hotel called castle hotel at Zamek Nachod. The Great hotel is named: Iva Drašnarová. I would not spend a cent at Beranka U ever again.
Ultimate Horror Hotel: The hotel is operated like a hostel for construction workers. Front desk personal in a red light district tone will downgrade what you booked and paid for, as the ‘better’ rooms are used for workers and the hotel is a write off for a company that is not structured or run to please anyone or cater to real guests. Staff is even bothered when regular guests book, seen with a bus group that has been ignored in orders, requests and received the worst attitude. Then there is a female remote manager that is called in czech language if you insist long enough and will always say no to your requests. No housekeeping, all dusty, old food, walls have holes and floors are broken with crators, urine in bathroom, mold and insects. Way worse then any dorm or hostel You could imagine. Checked out loosing money, was THAT bad, and relocated to Zamek Castle hotel up at the hill which was nice, clean, gourmet and is a real functional hospitality business.
Tried the restaurant - friendly service with good value for money. The pork knuckle was deliciously tender!
I liked it there but the food was too salty for me !
