A great pub...clean, Nicely decorated. Great variety of food, well cooked and presented. Friendly staff. We took our dog who was also welcome. I liked this pub. Great food and atmosphere, what more can you ask for?

Sunday dinner was excellent. Tastiest vegetarian meal I have ever eaten. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. The cheesy leeks were sublime. The roast potatoes were crisp and fluffy. Never have I enjoyed a meal more. A good chef makes all the difference.
Yummy Sunday Menu! Catered for dairy intolerance and a vegan also. Staff very attentive and such a relaxing and buzzing atmosphere. Will definitely come back!
My first visit under new management. Inside has been redecorated and feels welcoming and comfortable. I had a crab sandwich and sweet potato fries. The food looked appetizing and tasted great. As a lone diner I did not feel out of place and would go back again. Lots on the menu to choose from and the vegetarian and vegan choices were tempting so will try one of these next time! Plenty of parking too.
Went to the Nut Tree for an evening meal. Three of us ordered completely different things from the menu, muscles, pasta and chicken ballotine, all three meals were cooked and presented perfectly. Excellent service in a lovely friendly atmosphere. The only problem we had was that you can't include your tip for the excellent service on your card payment, felt awful because we didn't have cash on us. Will remember next time to take cash for the tip.
