We had our Sunday roast today. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the food. The staff were really nice and helpful. The food was ready to pick up, and the system for collection was efficient and beyond courteous. The kitchen team actually used separate knives for our roast when we informed then we didn't eat pork. Brilliant service. We bought some groceries from the shop before picking up our food. The fresh milk was rich and tasty. We enjoyed the bakery and jam. I would certainly recommend.

Beautiful produce in the shop but the cafe is amazing! Toasted sandwiches were divine but the cream teas stole the show! The scones were so warm, soft and fluffy. The jam was thick and gorgeous! Wish we had two instead of one!

School dinner roast unfortunately! Really pleasant staff but honestly the roast pork lunch today was really below average. The very thin pork I'd associate with Brakes. I ate it because I was hungry but it wasn't very enjoyable. Roast potatoes quite dry, crackling gorgeous, sprouts & carrots & cauliflower ok'ish...! The very polite waitress asked me if everything was OK, I explained it wasn't horrible, but not very nice either. She said she would tell the head chef & came back to tell me they didn't agree... It was there own Pork & they think it's delicious. Well, if the head chef thinks that, then I must be wrong....! Full price of 10.99 charged for a small plate.
