Third visit to this restaurant. Love all the dishes here. Excellent food and service. Great place for family. Left the place with a big belly XD

Very traditional local eating place. Seats only about 50 pax at max. Best to make reservations if your party is 8 and above. Fried prawn and squid dishes, very flavourful and seafood fresh! Other dishes were of home cooked goodness. Prices reasonable and servings more than sufficient.

Always good. Reliable food standard, very reasonably priced. Uncle will suggest your orders so you get a balance of flavours :)

Ok ok.. Nice food and the meats rendeng, pork, mutton were soft albeit drier due to lack of fat part.. the veges were ok.. but the bitter gourd with fried egg was lovely!! More please.. ok service is ok ok.. the gentleman must be working there for many years.. enjoy

An eatery runs by an elderly couple whose husband is the wait staff, server, cashier and all.. He's known to be a man of few words and hardly wears a smile but on this raining evening with fewer customers...he was rather happy to see us. The dishes were more salty than I would have liked and the assam was not tangy enough; and very tiny pieces of prawn in the omelette. Home cooked standard as good as it can be.

Had itek sio, brinjal, and Otak-otak. Also the pulut hitam and cendol. All the dishes were awesome (cendol might benefit from a little more gula Melaka but I liked it anyway). The duck just melted and the gravy was awesome. Like kao yuk but with duck and no yam. Will definitely return. Uncle wisely advised against fried rice to avoid being overwhelmed by flavours. Best meal I've had since circuit breaker lifted.

Just had lunch there about 2 and half hours ago. Nothing fantastic. Place looked like a refurbishment is very much needed. They were kind to point out that Assam pedas nana Udang and Assam pedas fish might be just repeating the taste. So we decided to order babi pontek in place of assam peda fish. However, the assam pedas nana udang tasted more like curry though it had a tinge of sourness. Rather disappointed. The babi pontek has a "pig" smell and did not had a Perakanan taste. The best dish is the chap chye the tau cheo taste is quite prominent. The portion was big. Good enough for 3 to 4 depending on the size of the stomach of the consumer . By the way, there was no crowd at noon so. .....
