Dull & cold day out from wilford bridge to Trent bridge, over hours enjoyment on my mobility scooter, there is very tarmac path all flare easy going, passing people friendly , it was interesting n beautiful you could see passed history, good cafe at the start & public house at Trent bridge few minutes walk of the tram n lots of buses at pub end,

Fantastic place. Great layout with a large outside area. Castle Rock pub which means I can spend hours in here. 20-30 minute walk from the city centre but Trent Bridge boasts a number of pubs in the area. Contender for the best pub in the city.

Nice place great staff. We had a wedding there during the Covid pandemic so it was a little on the odd side. The food was lovely the bride looked wonderful. Beers were top notch. The new staff member was very helpful and clearly an asset to the team.

First time I've been disappointed with the Sunday roast. Usually top quality food and among the best in Nottingham, but clearly they've reduced the quality and increased the price. They did throw a glass of wine in, but I'd have preferred a better quality meal. Low grade beef and watery 'gravy' as well as bland veg and tasteless mash. Shame, but I'm sure it'll get better again once more people are venturing out. I've always liked the place so here's hoping!

We were looking for a quiet beer late Friday afternoon in a pub by the river and thought the Embankment would fit the bill. Unfortunately it didn't - nowhere near the river and unpleasantly, even offensively, noisy : lots of loud swearing in the beer garden despite the presence of young children. Won't be going there again
