I stopped by for a few with my international flatmate on our way home since she was curious- It was smaller than some cathedrals but very beautiful and decorative with many sculptures, wall carvings and stained glass windows. There was information on all the key parts of the cathedral explaining their significance, meaning, purpose and/or history. A very pleasant atmosphere and well preserved. I don't actually worship there so I can't say anything about the masses but there's seems to be plenty of times to choose to attend.

Beautiful Cathedral in the heart of Nottingham. There's a rich history detailing the restoration of the Cathedral on information boards inside. As with any old place of worship, there's a reverent atmosphere inside that stills the soul.
Beautiful Cathedral. Impressive interior architecture. Beautiful solemn services. Quiet place and lots of smaller chapels for prayer/meditation.
I finally stepped out of my comfort to search for a place of worship after exactly 3 months of arrival in Notts. There isn't so much to say other than this place being a Catholic cathedral in Nottingham, very close to city centre. If you're a catholic, there isn't any news for you, the cathedral isn't any different from where you currently worship. It's got some beautiful architecture anyway and a decent community of faithful. I went for an 11:15am mass which ended at about 12:30pm. Not bad at all. In fact, this is where I'd be attending mass for as long as I'm in Nottingham.
The Nottingham cathedral is a very nice Catholic Church with impressive stained glass and frescoes. A very peaceful and quiet place for contemplation. There’s a sky mirror just less than 5 minutes walk away.
