This place I like, public gardens near a Napoleonic era Fort (which is obviously closed at the moment)On the point overlooking the channel, Portland on one side, Weymouth harbour and beach on the other. Parking, Toilets, small nature trail and lots of trees.

Lovely place for a walk, picnic, fossil hunting crabbing etc. Amazing views too.
