Lovely evening out to celebrate my mothers birthday! We all thoroughly enjoyed the food, and were incredibly happy to have such an amazing waiter! Unfortunately we didnt catch his name, but I believe he may have been management as he was one of the only members of staff not wearing a blue top. We will definitely be coming back soon!!

Lovely food, great value
Nice little pub located not far fron the town and sits next to the river. Mainly serves pizza and the classic carvery accompanied by some nice desserts like ice cream sundaes. I've visited twice and it's not been too busy although did have to book ahead for food. Bar serves a reasonable selection of drinks on draught and a variety of spirits as with any bar. There are a few steps to get in and out of the building but not too many. The staff are friendly and polite and the atmosphere seemed nice. Theres also TV's for watching sports. Overall, not a bad place to go for a family meal or a drink with mates.
Great social distancing restrictions for the carvery. Would highly recommend. Pick your veg and meat and the waiters will bring to your table so no mixing with others.
Recently updated the whole menu and now does pizza. Gave it a try and was really nice plus you get free unlimited salad, chips etc... Nice atmosphere and helpful friendly staff.
Had an enjoyable meal tonight with Emily making us feel most welcome. Had the cheese and bacon burger which was very tasty and my husband had a well stacked pizza. Thanks to Maria.
Very quiet at breakfast this week probably because people don't realise they are serving breakfast again. Still all you can eat except you can't serve yourself. Polite and friendly, helpful staff. Lovely food in a beautiful location overlooking the River.
We are staying at the Townhouse and Shaun has really looked after us. We wanted to eat in our room and he sorted everything for us. Great service from him and lovely food. Would definitely come back, thanks to Shaun.....
