Went last Sunday ( first time ) used the reviews for an idea of what was good, the pies came top! Sadly we waited an hour from the time we ordered by which time the pies were very dry with the crust over done and quite hard. I will go again soon and try other meals, hopefully to give a higher rating. I realise this was their opening week, but that's the time to get it perfect! Good luck for the future ! Chris.

Although described as a restaurant there is a separate dog friendly bar area and drinkers are made welcome. There are a couple of real ales on. Varied menu from snacks to main meals. Well worth a visit.
Lovely, tasty pies ,scampi was delicious well done to all the staff.
Superb little pub, classic English pub food and homemade pies are simply to die for. Very friendly staff who do everything to make you welcome.
