We stopped off in Norwich on route to great Yarmouth to do the Nooks and Crannies walks of which there are three. We completed walks A and B and saw many alleys, churches and historic buildings. Not always easy to follow the instructions but we got to the finishing line feeling that we had seen parts of Norwich that we would have missed otherwise. Walks A and B took in the Cathedral and Castle.
Decent marketplace with a nice variety of shops. Best to go for food as that's what they have the most of. Plenty different options from butchers to beer and many different types of cuisine. Could easily go there once a day for a week trying food from different places. Only downside is a fair few closed up shops. Could do with more regular stalls rather than food places.
Excellent range of local shops selling a very wide range of quality products. Staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Cafés and restaurants are also excellent and reasonably priced.
Beautiful cityscapes and young vibe nightlife.
