Kolin is amazing - he has been teaching my 10 year old daughter guitar, and in just a few lessons he has given her a huge amount of confidence and skill, and she is already playing AC/DC riffs!!! He is kind, caring, and patient and most importantly, tailors the lessons to ensure that you're learning by playing the music you love - ensuring that you keep at it. I cannot recommend him highly enough - it goes much further than just learning music. If you're looking for a first-class teacher, look no further...

We were so lucky to find Kolin by chance. Kolin makes lessons friendly and fun for kids new to music. He has an easy going nature and is very adaptable when little people are not necessarily in the mood after a day at school. Our 9 year old daughter has made great progress in her first year, learning for fun. She has continued to enjoy her lessons via Zoom during lockdown. We are most grateful to Kolin for keeping things going during this unusual time.
I have been going to Kolin for just over a year now for Guitar lessons and have been amazed at my progress under his tuition. Having recently come back to playing guitar after a number of years I thought I could do with some tutoring to improve my skills, or lack of! I tried a couple of other tutors who were ok, but when I met Kolin for a taster lesson it just clicked. He is very intuitive on finding out where I wanted to go and the kind of styles I like to play and constantly building on that. His lessons are well structured and prepared but fluid and adaptive. The key thing is that he listens to your needs and comes up with ways of getting to that goal without you realising it. I would not hesitate in recommending Kolin to anyone either starting out or more advanced players, you will see a big difference!
I really enjoy my acoustic guitar lessons with Kolin, his patience and good humour make me feel relaxed , he is a great source of motivation... makes me want to find more time to practise! Over the last few months I have seen a real improvement in my guitar playing.
Since having lessons with Kolin I have improved more than I thought possible in a short amount of time and always look forward to my guitar lessons. He's patient and lets me learn at my own pace. I would recommend him to anyone!
