A number of years ago I bought a laptop from these guys and paid for 3 years breakdown insurance. After nearly 3 years use it broke down (the hard drive stopped spinning). Took it back, and even though I had the insurance document, they refused to fix it, even accusing me of having a virus on it, which was rubbish. Could of course taken them to court. Instead will not touch these guys with a barge pole and they have been of my radar since (I have bought 4 laptops since for personal use, for family and myself, have found the online service from Lenovo to be outstanding).

I ordered myself a 43” Samsung TV during the Black Friday Sales, the tv took 2 weeks to arrive which is understandable, especially since I received a message prior saying that it could take up to 21 days. Upon delivery the driver of a large white unlabelled lorry unloaded and brought the product to me. I then proceeded to unbox the parts and instructions which I thoroughly read. Then, with the help of my father I removed the television from the box as the instructions stated. The tv was completely cracked and broken as well as the polystyrene packaging. The website doesn’t allow me to make a return for a replacement or even a refund and it has been 24 hours of trying to return the tv at this current Point. I’m appalled at the company and the customer service and the delivery driver and would NOT recommend ever buying from here. I have researched laws regarding the faulty product and my entitlement to a new tv or a refund and will be taking further legal action if the issue hasn’t been sorted within 5 days.

Absolutely awful. To the point where I would pay more just to buy from another company. There was an online offer (with no expiry date advertised) where you could trade in an old laptop and get 200 off a new Mac. We were on holiday and drove a 120 mile round trip back home to pick up our old laptop. As it was so late by the time we got back we went into the store first thing next day. The staff in store understood the offer was still valid but the head office removed the offer a day early (they had an offer sheet to prove it). There was nothing the staff in store could do and just the way they spoke about head office told you all you need to know. What a waste of time. All the staff in store could offer was calling the customer helpline. We have been on hold for over an hour and push one wrong button and the call will hang up. Apart from the apparent breach of consumer rights law regarding offers the whole experience was awful. Absolutely shocking customer service and I'm genuinely surprised they are still in business. I would urge anyone to buy elsewhere (even if it cost the same or more).

I own a switch now. I went in there for a harddrive and laptop stand and came out with neither and a switch. Not their fault. They very cool. Especially the dude in the games section with all the pins. We like him. But yes. Switch.

Zero help offered, looked at like I was committing a crime by turning up a speaker while testing that I went in to buy (one in pic). Left without speaker, will give my money to other store. 349 might be an amount currys can lose but I'm sure another store will appreciate the business. Good selection however.
