Its a great walk...you can start at Leigh Arms(which is lovely)and do a circular walk which takes 3.5 miles.

A lovely walk along the weaver and canals. A nice and easy stroll so good for everyone (just be careful not to fall in). Little snippets of local history along the way and a nice spot to tuck into a picnic before heading back...
Lovely old locks steeped in history. Great walks around about.
A great flat walk from the Leigh Arms, suitable for buggies. Picnic tables at the locks themselves (bring your own picnic).
An excellent stroll from Acton Bridge to Dutton Locks along a riverside paved access road, especially after a wet day. Locks area now tydied-up with plenty of seating. Very popular, but gives access to less-busy walks beyond.
