Went to Currys the other day and it was nice and easy. spent some times looking around computors and needed some help. spoke to a gent called Elliot. he was very helpful, went through everything with me and explained what the machines were capable opf and their limitations. went on to ask what i needed it for and what i would be doing with it so he could assist me better. I roughtly wanted to spend about 300 to 400 but after Elliot explained that for my needs id be better off going to a laptop that at the time was 499. while i didnt want to spend that much it was carefuly explained that the machines i was looking at would mostly have something called Microsoft S mode which would be teriable for me and the machines that didnt have that for my price range were going to have inadiquate parts for my needs. Very happy with my purchase and my experiance. my only issue was that i had to wait 15 mins to get a chance to talk to Elliot as (from my perspective) an other customer was arguing with him over a laptop they had bought themselves online not being sufficent for their needs.

I went to the Northwich store this evening , expecting to go in and purchase a microwave oven for an 88 year old lady with Alzheimer’s disease. I was not allowed to go into the store , I was told it was click and collect only, I asked if I could do that and was told we are having trouble with the computer system I am appalled that I could not go in, you say your stores are open , not correct. Thank God for Tesco up the road, very helpful assistant, which yours wasn’t , yours was not even bothered that an elderly person had no way of heating her meal , or make any suggestions where I could purchase one . I am not surprised that people are using AO. Com and Amazon, you do not deserve a share of the market , and I’m sure their delivery would have been quicker than you click and collect. As a national store you are a disgrace.
