I have always enjoyed my drop in's after a walk meeting friends or a night out. With great bar staff and music and a boogie! Tonight I need to add an extra, the quality of their ales/beer not up to standard. Lacklustre at best... we like to support local and there is a lot of competition around.... choose a fickle crowd and they will move on. Raise, maintain and grow for the long term and you will get the perfect clientele. 4 for a pint... we left it behind. Atmosphere, quality all lacking.

Staff didn't know anything about their beers. If you sell craft beers, you need to have tasted them or have some product knowledge, to advise the customer. Also the glass collector nicked my drink off the table in front of me whilst it still had a quarter of a pint in it . Atmosphere was good. Maybe they were having an off day. Would return and give them a second chance to do better.
Love the 1.50 pints on a Wednesday. They always do other great offers. Lovely staff and atmosphere, sometimes good music
Great range of exceptional beers at really reasonable prices. Popular place with great atmosphere. No pretentions. Just good, honest beer in a really social setting. Wish I hadn't moved out of Rossendale 20 years ago!
Excellent choice of drinks real ale and gins, seating could be a little comfier. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff
