Receptionist phoned me a couple of weeks ago to make an appointment for me to see the doctor concerning my x-ray results but I was unable to accept an appointment at the time because I had a death in the family and wouldn't be in the area. She said that she would put a note on my file for when I was able to phone to make another appointment. I've just phoned to make that appointment only to be told that I would have to phone at 8am in the morning and then to be phoned back and go through triage procedure. I've already done that so what's the point? I told the receptionist this and she said because of covid! What has that got to do with making an appointment for me? We've all been living with covid for 9 months, know that we have to wear a mask when going to the surgery so I really can't see any reason for not making an appointment for me when I phoned today! Never heard anything so ridiculous! Appalling service!

Just found a voicemail left from this surgery re my vaccination date. I have always had contact from them by text. I called as instructed and was told oh no you have to go on a waiting list now in a very offhand matter!! WE are talking Covid here i am 65 with underlying health issues have stayed in for a year and have drained my savings......shameful ...I never have voicmails and my mobile is pants
