A Northern All Rounder

The Facilities here are reasonable, unfortunately the booking system has let us down massively. We booked our cat in for three nights in November, using the form and this all went smoothly. HOWEVER, when I dropped our cat off I asked about the Christmas period. I was told this period gets very busy so it was necessary to complete a booking ASAP. I therefore completed a booking form the next day. My wife then picked up our cat on Thursday and told the owner we had completed the form for Christmas. The owner ASSURED us it was fine and thanks for giving them notice. Because of the poor online booking system, you do not receive a notification when you completed the form. However, because we not only had done the form but also told the owner that we had done the form and said it was OK, you think it is all ok! Wrong! I rang again on Monday 17th December to check everything was ok as when we booked in November we got a phone call to confirm the booking. No response so left a Voicemail. I got no response so had to ring on Wednesday and told there was no record of the form and they were fully booked!!! Its a joke that we have done things by the book and we are punished. Whats worse is the owner had the audacity to say 'we should have just rang to book and not do a form of stayed beforehand. Were never told this and despite telling the owner twice about the plans did not take the booking, poor service! Has now left us running around trying to find a cattery 5 days before Christmas and could seriously jeapordise our Christmas Plans! Have also lost out on our future custom. Need to seriously bring the booking system up to speed and will look elsewhere from now on!
