generally its kind if good place to be but some night porters are kind of ignorant and arrogant.. they just want to make guest day miserable by being so helpful..disregards to their guests.. very sad

Such a lovely place!!clean, cosy, delicious food,and really big rooms. Comfy bed and lovely pillows. I had a really good night sleep. And place allowed dogs. Perfect. Highly recommended
Very nice, 2 night stay room only. All very fresh/clean, lovely fresh towels, hairdryer, shower gels etc.Tea &coffee in room, the staff are very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back. Tip...Always book direct over the phone. Can I suggest that when Curling is on please put a notice on/at reception, we missed it.
Friendly and helpful staff,room clean and comfortable, due to the current state facilities are limited but the are doing a great job ensuring a safe environment
Great hotel. Comfy bed, huge rooms reasonable internet connection. Large car park (Free) and a 10 minute drive to the ferry port.
If you want a brutally honest review... DONT STAY HERE! Completely over priced! the reception staff were not helpful, and treated us differently compared to other guests. rude if I must say. The room was dusty, and had a dreadful Oder. Room is extremely dated. definitely won’t be coming again! this hotel has so much potential which is such a shame But To end on a good note the WiFi is good, which makes sense since most Visitors are Elderly so won’t be using that facility
Friendly staff and great adherence to the new restrictions (Covid related). Never felt inconvenienced. Bedroom really comfortable and spacious. Lots of nice touches, toiletries in pre-packaged bags. Delicious meal in the dining room, and great value. Breakfast was substantial and freshly cooked to order. Definitely stay again. Access to swimming pool would make it 5*... hopefully next time we stay
