I had two days climbing with Simon in September. I gave him a slightly tricky brief and he arranged a fantastic well structured couple of days. The pre-trip admin was slick and responsive. His style on the hill hit a perfect balance between highly knowledgeable switched on instructor, and easy going, entertaining, climbing partner. Was a hugely positive experience and I’d definitely club with Simon again. Thanks Simon and Kate for a great couple of days (even the weather was well organized).

Just had a superb day climbing with Simon at Gogarth. I was really impressed with Simon's guidance, ability to judge my own experience and select appropriate challenges. Dream of white horses should be on every climbers bucket list - doing it with Simon allowed me to enjoy the experience in a controlled and efficient manner. I would absolutely recommend Simon to anyone looking for a climbing guide and very much hope to climb with him again soon. The photos Simon took were also of a high standard and a great souvenir of the day.
We had a fantastic time climbing with Simon in North Wales. We couldn't have hoped for a more friendly and knowledgeable guide. He found the perfect location for our level of experience. It was my first time climbing outside and I learned a great deal while feeling very safe. It's my partner's second time with the NWRockClimbing company and we couldn't recommend it enough!
I found Simon through google search as I was looking for a rock climbing session as a present for my husbands birthday. Simon was extremely helpful from the beginning and I was pleased to book his services. The date we had planned for my husband and his friend was cancelled due to welsh lockdown. This was no problem for Simon and we kept in touch throughout. As soon as the restrictions were lifted we rearranged. Simon was very accommodating My husband and his friend had a fabulous day with Simon on Holyhead mountain. Simon tailored the course to exactly what they wanted to achieve ( as it was their first time). Simon thought them valuable skills. My husband was still on a high two days later. I would highly recommend Simon if you’re looking for a rock climbing instructor. A pleasure to deal with and very reasonable in price.
First experience scrambling. Did Barrow Buttress and Bristly Ridge on Tryfan on day 1 and Y Lliwedd on day 2. Brilliant experience, landscape and guides. Highly recommended.
