These guys are honestly the best!! I first saw Micheal and he fitted me for ski boots. Unfortunately we couldn't find any that fit me (covid low stock), but he never pressured me to buy something that wasn't right. In fact, he completely advised against it! Ended up finding some elsewhere and brought it to them for custom fitting. Brett was so helpful and knowledgeable and made it fit like a snug glove. Know that if you come here, you can trust them. They will never sell you something that isn't right for you. I'll be back!

My first time here I was looking to upgrade my touring skis. I wasn't satisfied with my old setup. These guys were very helpful directing me towards some skis that would better fit my ski style and overall objectives. I absolute love the skis I have now, it made a huge difference. Some time later I was also looking to upgrade my resort skis. This time I had a specific ski on mind that I wanted. Of the local ski shops, they actually had the cheapest price on them. So I ended up buying skis from them again. I again got some helpful advice that confirmed to be that the skis were the correct choice for me. And I've been super happy with them out on the hills, they are such fun to ski. If you are looking for new ski gear or just information and advice, this is a great place to go!

The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, and there was no wait time to get fitted for boots or to pay. By far the best shopping experience I’ve had in a while. Rory was awesome. My mom says thanks.

The staff at NS Ski and Board is extremely knowledgable! I'd been wanting to explore the world of backcountry snowboarding for a little while, didn't take me long to realize that acquiring a split-board mid season is practically impossible! After receiving the endless \sorry we're out of those\ from snow shops all over the Province (ie Vancouver, Nelson, Whistler and Squamish) I finally stumbled upon this shop as my last attempt. I was helped by Michael, their snowboard guru, not only did he set their last (affordable) split board aside for a couple of days for me, he was also very helpful in all aspects of the whole split-board shopping experience. He offered great tips and advice, along with suggestions for local spots to explore. He is filled with character and just an absolute joy to talk to! When I went in to get my board the next day, they had it all set up and ready to go and even offered to get the bindings sized to my boots. Thank you so much for all your help, I'm sure I'll be a pro..in about 5 years, ALLL thanks to Michael! I'll defo be back for more equipment when my bank acc is replenished

I have purchase few things from here in the past few years. I came here with my daughter to get her a new ski helmet. The help was great regarding fitting ski helmet for my daughter. However I didn't feel quite right when first question the staff asked was a budget. I said 100-300, and the staff grabs 350 dollar helmet for my daughter to try. We end up trying few more helmets with in upper 200 and mid 300. We end up getting one grade lower Smith helmet for 300 dollars. The issue I have with the staff is that, despite my daughter tried these two helmets more than 3 times each to make sure there isn't any difference in fitting and look, she kept on asking my daughter if the 350 helmet isn't better than 300 helmet. After my daughter made a final decision to purchase Smith Vantage, the staff tells us that they don't have the size.... Eventually the staff found the size and we purchase the helmet. I have mix feeling about purchase today. As far as the selection and the price... I am not sure if they have any better selection than other local ski/snowboard shops in the North Shore. The price is definitely not cheaper than other stores. I found a exact same helmet for 60 dollars cheaper at C@@ store 10 min drive away. Too bad my daughter has to use the helmet tomorrow so I won't be returning it.
