This store has changed owners and locations since I first discovered it. The current owner seems more into textile crafts whereas the previous owner seemed to be more into journaling, bookmaking, and such. The previous owner also added in yarn when Bird & a Feather closed. As a scrapbooker, I appreciate the large ribbon supply (died silk ribbon especially, as well as daintier ribbons in designs like leaves, flowers, compasses etc.). Most of the paper is either Graphic45 or not 12x12 sizes (some are notebook sized and some are bookcover sized--which can be cut down for other projects.) They also carry a good line of mixed media supplies--stickles glitter glues, paints, stencils. And still have some ephemera. They do offer classes.
I wish there was more for scrapbookers here. I love the ribbon options and having a place that carries some of the stickles colors, but there are very few papers in the size I use and most are from a company that I don't particularly use (though it is a popular company among scrapbookers from what I understand). If you're a knitter or crocheter there is a good yarn selection.
There was a very small selection of yarn and not many brands to shop from.
This is an excellent little art and yarn store. The person behind the counter was wonderful and super helpful.
